What you eat is very
important for the skin and hence you should eat the right type of foods and
avoid foods that cause acne to achieve a clear acne free unblemished skin. Acne is a big problem for all especially to
teenagers as at that age they are very concerned about their looks. Hence diet plays a very important role and
you should eat the right type of foods.
Too much salt is dangerous for your health but even the
processed and prepackaged good contains a lot of salt which can irritate the
skin and cause acne breakouts. Excess intake of salt can harm to your health
especially your cardiovascular as well as circulatory system for it can cause
water retention and increased blood pressure.
Foods that are high in salt are cheese, canned products, bacon, ham,
canned sauces and junk foods. Excessive intake of fatty foods can increase the
sebum production to secrete the excess fats. With that, an increase of oil
glands in the skin pores can lead to acne creation and hence you must eat less
fat to avoid any health or acne problems. Therefore drink lots of water and eat foods
that are high in good cholesterol or the high density lipoprotein (HDL) like
high fiber foods, oat meals, fish like tuna, sardines and mackerel.
In achieving a clear acne
free skin, decrease or avoid the intake of food mentioned as what you
eat affects the function of the entire body.
